Helpless Cat

Yesterday, when i was about to go for basketball... My mom came and told me there's a cat being abused by 2 dogs right outside my house. So i went to see what's going on. I saw a cat hide under a car and the 2 dogs were surronding it. The dogs seem so mad and they were trying to pull the cat out from the car. i was very nervous and i tried to find something to chase the dogs away but i couldn't find anyone. I dare not stay too close from the dogs without any weapon on my hand and there's no one around to assist me. The dogs were like very desperate to kill the cat and with their will, they finally pulled the cat out and they were about to tear the cat apart. As i was nervous, I just simply grabbed some rocks from the ground and threw toward the dogs. It was too late when i made it to chased the dogs away. The poor cat was already dying... I was totally blank in my mind without any past experience of this... I called one of my friend who stay somewhere around and he has dogs so i think he might be helpful.. We wanted to send it to the nearest Vet but we dare not simply move it because it has already badly injured... So i asked help from my neighbour (They are Malays, usually a cat lover) for help.. They are more experience in this because they rare a cat. They tried to look after the cat but it just can't wait any longer...The cat was struggling until it's last breathe... Then my neighbour burried it..

I feel so sorry because i wasn't brave enough to stop the dogs at earlier stage... You might think that "Jermenn please stop acting! It's just a cat!". Yea, i am not a cat lover but when you are on the spot, watching something is dying infront of you and you can't help at all... The feeling is like you are the one who killing it!

It wasn't any of our fault and I don't blame the dogs because they are beast... But the owner of the dogs should feel guilty! It is the responsibility for them to take care of their dogs... I wonder where the hell were they !? They don't keep their eyes on the dogs at all and just leave them like that.. You are just lucky enough because your dog just killed a cat and no one would give a damn to a cat but what if your dog go attack other's children?????

I told some my friends about the incident.. I find out non of us actually have the knowledge to help these helpless animals... Usually no one will bother if they see any injured animal and the animal will be leave to die.. So you will see many corpses on our ground. I was wondering whenever i am driving on the road...so i asked my friends, who will take care of those corpses on the road? Some of them answered "No one lar! So many cars roll after the corpese..it will dissappear very soon 1!" OICC!

To be frank, I really never hear any associations that provide surgery and proctection for those wild animals before. But i do know there are alot of vet clinics around the city... those no money no talk 1! So if anyone have the contact of these associations, i am much apprectiate if you are willing share it with me here. Thanks!
