puppies for adoption!!!

This e-mail has been going around!

Dear all,

I am sorry to have to trouble you again. Two days ago a lady by the name of Jacqueline Tsang contacted me asking me for help. I was not sure who is this person, but having listen to her I cannot help but come to the conclusion that she must either be a compassionate crack pot or an angel in our midst. I was invited to her house and there I saw a group of people who are her neighbours helping her out cleaning cages and feeding many puppies that were rescued from the Dewan Bandaraya City Pound in Setapak.

To cut a long story short she got these 37 puppies in various conditions and spend her own money feeding them and getting a number of Vets to help her out, which they did. Of the 37 puppies, some are in poor condition and many of them are still with the Vet under observation. Jacqueline told me that those that are open for adoption must be in reasonably good condition and are approved by the vet that they are ready for adoption. Some of the puppies do not look like strays, and I wonder how they landed in the pound.

The puppies are about 6 to 8 weeks old and I have not even bothered to ask how many male and females in the brood. My first reaction when Jacqueline called me, was that she took on more than she could chew. Okay so there was an error of judgment and when I chastised her, she took it in good faith but she protested that if she had left it to the Pound, the puppies will be put to sleep and these are good dogs that deserve a chance. She reminded me about the 3 pups that I rescued in Shah Alam two months ago and she asked me what drove me to do it.

Okay, we have a situation here and I am asking all of you out there who believe in compassion , love and whatever your good book have taught you above love and compassion to pause and consider this appeal. Jacqueline does not want your money, she spend about RM6,000 per month out of her own pocket to fuel her passion on animal rescue. All she wants from me or rather you is to help her to house these little puppies. In her words, give them a chance, they are loyal God’s creatures.

With this in mind, I am asking all of you who are Christian, Mormons, Hindu, Muslim , Taoist, Buddhist, Bahai, or others. I am asking you to put your compassion and love into practise, help us find a home for all these animals. You may not be able to take in another dog, but your friends or neighbour may be able to do so.

I am enclosing pictures in low resolution of Jacqueline and a helper Eric, and pictures of some of the doggie. All of them are available for adoption. You may contact her direct if you are keen and if you have friends who can help out, can you please forward this mail to them.

Jacqueline’s No: 012-2070436.

The last round when I had the puppy I picked from the road nearby my place, the response was rather great and uplifting. I’ve called Jacqueline to check on the updates and accordingly there’s 11 puppies left for adoption. 2 of them are males, 1 of them is severely traumatised and some has skin diseases which is easily treated with supplements. She’s an animal activist and has not left home to do everything else because of the huge amount of pups in her home that she needs to take care of. On the 15th of March 2008, her house is filled with 59 dogs and pups. Scary and amazing at the same time isn’t it?

She stays at Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur if you are interested to check out the pups. She did mentioned she has a few adult dogs which is adorably done - sterile and vaccinated. Please please those who are interested do give Jac a call, those who are interested to help but not able to adopt, you may help out financially because the amount of money spent medicating the pups is huge.

Please help by even spreading the words k?

JB Trip 2 - Pagoh, Muar

After my very sad experience in ASQ... We were looking to fill our stomach up...

Poor Joe has been waiting for nearly 3 hours plus... same to us... 3 of us were hungry to the max...

We drove around the JB city to look for something to eat...

We decided to take a walk on the JB streets.

The sky was gloomy just like how i feel for the audition ...

We reckon there are roasted duck everywhere..so we assumed that the place is famous of that.

Usually those shops that renovate until nice nice 1 just look nice but the foods sux... so we picked one tradition looking shop.

The foods look yummy too!

Alot of choices....

Sugar cane herbal tea! It's refreshing..

ssSSuUuurPpphhhh!

Herbal Roasted duck!

Plain fried vege

Curry fish head!

We had a nice meal! It cost us about rm 66

Then we went to Danga bay...

The gloomy sky kept me thinking of the audition.... so Joe came and comfort me...

View of Danga bay..

We these old folks still playing around like kids..

Joe wanna be the train driver...who dare to be his passenger?

I got knocked down by a train! No one come and help me 1?????? All heartless...

Joe tried to stop the train for me...

And Joanne too...

無奈...

I am catching a train...don't kacau me lar!

He must have eaten too much.... now gonna realease edy... WOii! Don't do this on the street lar!

After fooling around, we got back to our journey back to KL.

We were looking for a herbal farm in Pagoh that my colleague recommended to me.

See where we were heading to?

Bukit Kepong weiii!!! I still remember i was forced to read this novel before...

Kampung life...

Don't know who's house is it...

Wanna kidnap him? =P Just took the picture randomly...

We were lost but fortunately the kampung peoples were kind to show us the direction...

Finally we have made it to the Pagoh Herbal Tea Farm.

Look at their design... I feel like i am having a tea with smurf and family.

The environment is great...It's relaxing and enjoying to have a tea there...

they got alot of herbs with different effects... for slimming, healthy, anti-aging, etc...

Home made curry powder

Healthy stones are all around, you may take a short walk after meal...

Here are their products.... They are expensive... from minimum rm 30 to rm100 ++

I love their toilet..

If you are still hungry...you can ....

eat the chillies on the wall....

bawang goreng...sedap?

I won't recommend you to come here if you are looking for nice foods... But it is a cool place to chill yourself along the highway.

Everything is about money...you have to pay rm1 just to measure your weight.

Joe gonna show us magic...

Or he wanna show us Germany burn pork leg?

We were worrying the

Let's see how we posed at people's DB.

Jermenn version of Goku..

Joe the big giant!

Joanne the .....

3 of the sakais from KL seriously very sakai lor... after our photo session, we drove to Muar for our dinner.

It's about an hour plus to from Pagoh to Muar. (I think we can make it faster if we are familiar with the place.

When you see many high high antenna on the shops and houses roof, then you're in Muar.

Joe "comfirm lah": The purpose they built the antenna high up to the sky is to get the signal of Singapore channels.

We're back to Joe's hometown!

Joe brought us to a place that he strongly recommended to us.

Picture for our baby maniac, Joanne

You may find that the stores here are selling the most genuine local foods.

They persist in keep the original taste and traditional way to cook.

O jian (Egg friend with oysters)

The oysters are fat and fresh...

Fish porridge

Fish is fresh and the porridge is sweet... you may taste a little bit of celery in your mouth.

Satay

The peanut source is so pure... together with the local Satay in Muar, you may taste something different.

They do have pork satay. But we didn't order lar...me and Joanne are halal!

Otak-otak

If you never eat otak-otak before that means you never been to Muar before! You can never missed to try the otak-otak here when you're in Muar!

We ordered prawn and fish flavor. You may find bits of fresh meat chucks in every bite on the otak-otak.

The taste is really nice.. it's so so so original!

I am not sure what is the place call but it's located in Muar town.

After the dinner, we were satisfied and got back on the road.

.
Some one gonna suicide! Help him!

Yesterday Astro called Joanne, she has made it to the next round in ASQ. Congratz! At least we did not came back with the empty hand.
*I am still tasting the taste of failure...
