Holiday eve?

As-Salamu Alaykum from Jordan, Amman

Jordan.. One of the safest country in middle east. And bloody expensive place as well.


But its quite an interesting place as the landscape is totally different our part of the world. Also its full of religions history. Haven't got the chance to head to Petra ( BBC's one of "the 40 places you have to see before you die). Maybe my next trip there. :)

I had the chance to encounter something quite interesting. Since I had some time left with my taxi driver, he offered to take me to buy some Middle East Sweets. Which was something very different from what I expected.

Just had dinner in the hotel as I was already kind tired.


Since I was in this part of the world, I had to try something very middle east!

(SHISHA!!! While waiting for my food to come :). Lemon Mint flavour as recommended by the waiter. But seriously, the service for Shisha here is great. They really pay attention to your charcoal)

(Waiter just told me that this is middle east bread. LOL.)

(The main course. Mixed grilled meat. Chicken, beef and lamb I think. :) )

(Finished my meal with tea. Again, they just told me middle east tea. I am starting to feel that they trying to play with me. But it is a little bit different as they add mint into their tea.)

I just bought a earphone for RM200 last month and its already Koed.

Because i am flying again, I bought a temperory one for RM20 and its monster beat. Looks really cool but...The sound is like someone is closing the singer's nose while they are singing.

The difference really very lanjiau big.

I used to stand long flights by reading books. But since i got my Ipad I spend my time on more useless stuff like games and music. Music is a big must for me when I am travelling. espescially when I'm alone.

Nvm, deng chi sin.. wait for my geeky friend to come back from Hong Kong and he can help me get a better one. :)

Was in Middle East region 2 weeks back.

Was quite an interesting trip as I manage to meet another good old friend of mine there. :)

(Desserts : Chocolate mud-cake with whipped cream, ice cream and carameled banana)

(Recommended by my friend. A specialty here. Iced Lemon tea with some mint and sour ice cream)

We were seated outside the restaurant where we were facing the Dubai Mall Fountain. Pretty Cool.

All in all, it was really nice being able to meet a friend when you are traveling. My friend drove 2hours from Abu Dhabi just to meet me. Very kam dung. gahgahahahah

Anyways that all I have to share about Dubai.
